Too many memories to count. Loch Morlich. The Cairngorms. Many weekends have been spent in the Cairngorm National Park. A 30 minute drive down the A9 takes me to one of my all time favorite locations, Loch Morlich. Surrounded by Scots Pine, this small alpine Loch boasts panoramic views of the Cairngorms. On a hot summer day, the water is busy with kayaks and paddle boarders. Pack the BBQ and a slack line and your day is filled. My dad taught me how to ski at the Cairngorm ski area. It’s undulating slopes are perfect for learning and the views are incredible. I’ve biked, rock climbed, hiked, paddle boarded, kayaked, canoeed, camped and skied in the Cairngorms. When considering locations to create work from, this view from Loch Morlich was a must.
